We welcome 7 members of CITB’s Woman in Construction

On Friday, 10th September 2021, we welcomed 7 members of CITB’s Woman in Construction. Our HSE Manager, Eleanor Forrest Reid, and various members of the Northstone Team planned a morning out for the ladies around our sites at Toome.

The ladies had a tour of several production functions including, Blocks, Roofing Contracts, Sand, and Tiles. Everyone involved had a lovely morning, and the ladies enjoyed a quick look into how the materials business operates.

Amanda Stevenson sent a valued statement to Eleanor post-event - “Many thanks again to you and the entire Northstone team for such a brilliant site visit last Friday. A well-organised event that let us all see how the operations work in the materials side of the business.”

We thank all those who attended the event. A massive well done to those involved in the organisation of the event and ensuring all went smoothly on the day.
