Sharon McKeen is celebrating 35 years of service.

Sharon's career began the day after graduating from Ballyclare Secondary School when she became an Accounts Clerk at H.A.C. Catherwood and Sons, a sand and block company in Doagh. Her people-oriented nature allowed her to excel in various roles, including helping at the Lowdens Builders Merchants trade counter.

Sharon recalls how accounts processes have shifted from manual invoicing and calculations in Belfast to more automated systems. In 2008, her organisational skills led her to oversee customer services and dispatch at the Cemex block yard in Doagh, where she also managed monthly back-office details and obtained her loading shovel license.

After Northstone acquired RMC/Cemex, Sharon was promoted to Customer Services and Dispatch Supervisor in Toomebridge, ensuring efficient roof tile dispatch across the UK and Ireland while also overseeing the haulier accounts payment system.

Known for her fun-loving spirit, Sharon is excited about the prospect of meeting "Tinkerbell" in Orlando in 2026.
