Norman McIlwaine achieved a remarkable 45th work anniversary milestone

Norman McIlwaine achieved a remarkable milestone on 22nd August 2022, his 45th work anniversary.

When connect caught up with the location manager, Ciaran Cunningham, he said:

"It's hard to believe that some of us had not even been born when Norman first set foot in Ballymena Quarry in 1977. Since then, he has been an ever-present cornerstone. He brings a vast wealth of knowledge, experience, and absolute dedication to the job.

The team at Ballymena and the wider Northstone family are grateful for your work over the last 5 decades. Although it is the 45th anniversary, Norman has many more years in the tank!

In his spare time, Norman is an avid golfer captaining Ballymena Golf Club recently".
