Graduate Electrical Engineer

We are seeking to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Graduate to join our team

We are seeking to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Graduate to join our team. The successful candidates will report to the Regional Operations Manager.

Graduates will take part in our two-year graduate development programme, to develop technical, interpersonal, commercial and management skills. Northstone’s 2025 Graduate Programme will commence at the beginning of September 2025.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Learn & understand the operation and maintenance requirements of our mobile and fixed plant and equipment.
  • Involved in process projects that target sustainability or efficiency improvements.
  • Preparation of technical drawings and documentation.
  • Ensure we maintain and progress our high health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Co-ordinate and oversee maintenance and upgrade operations under the guidance of location management.
  • Ability to communicate information and plans effectively to both employees and contractors.

Candidates should ideally possess:

  • A relevant third level Qualification in Electrical / Building Services / Automation Engineering or similar qualification.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • A clean driving licence will be required.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, organised, results driven and self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An ability to operate to strict timelines/deadlines in order to produce results.
  • Strong computer literacy skills. 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar engineering packages desired, but not essential as Full training will be given.
