Double Success For Northstone Materials At Awards Night!

We were delighted to be presented with the prestigious Health & Safety Award (Sponsored by Pat O'Donnell & Co) and the award for Environmental Initiative (Sponsored by Bailey Waste Recycling) at the recent Plant & Civil Engineer Awards at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belfast.

The judging panel commented, 'Northstone Materials presented an integrated approach to managing health & safety, with a series of initiatives over the post COVID19 period including workforce consultation and engagement, training at all levels of the organisation and climate surveys to measure the health & safety culture and development within the business.'

On the environmental front, Northstone Materials has successfully delivered many new and improved initiatives in the last 12 months. The team has taken a holistic approach to help drive change, including positive engagement with staff and local communities, future-proofing its industry workforce, increasing biodiversity net gains, carbon capturing and creating sustainable products.
