Charlie McKay reaches 45 year milestone

Let's give a big shoutout to Charlie McKay, who started his remarkable career with JT Glovers on 8th May 1978, and he's been going strong for an impressive 45 years! 
 

Charlie served as a dedicated roller driver in Adrian Marshall's squad, working alongside Trevor Anderson, who skillfully handled the spreader. 
 

Fun fact: Charlie will be turning 72 on 8th August, just one year younger than his idol, the legendary Bruce Springsteen, who is 73! 
 

Now, let's talk about his youthful looks! Some say he must have had an easy paper round because he's looking fantastic! 
 

When he's not busy on the job, Charlie is a huge fan of Gaelic football and proudly supports Derry.  He's also deeply passionate about farming, nurturing the land with his expertise. 
 

Let's not forget about his beautiful family. Charlie is happily married to Anne Marie, and together they have two sons and a daughter named Conor, Ciaran, and Claire. Although they don't have any grandchildren just yet, their love and bond are as strong as ever! 
 

Charlie has a delightful holiday home in Ballycastle, where he frequently escapes for some well-deserved relaxation and enjoyment.
