Calcium Carbonate Quarry and Milling Operations Tour

On Tuesday, 21st May, Jonathan Gault (Sales Manager), Ciaran Cunningham (Production Manager), and Rebecca Mitchell (Environmental & Systems Officer) met with fellow colleagues from Roadstone. Tom O’Mahony (Operations Manager South), Liam Dunne (Killough Location Manager), and Ger Campion (Sales & Business Development, Fine Lime) gathered at our Limestone Depot, Carmean Limeworks, located just outside Cookstown, Co Tyrone.

Our colleagues toured our impressive calcium carbonate quarry and milling operations, which cater to various markets. From construction to agricultural products, Carmean Limeworks supplies fillers for concrete and asphalt manufacturing, rendering and architectural sectors, and materials for the animal feed industry, to name but a few.

For many years, we have shown our commitment to serving the agricultural industry with the highest quality-assured products from Carmean Limeworks. At the end of 2024, we will celebrate over 20 years of accreditation to the Feed Materials Assurance Scheme (FEMAS).
