Belfast City Marathon

What A Day!!

Congratulations to the five Northstone Relay Teams and two 8 mile walkers who took part in the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon yesterday in aid of Cancer Focus Northern Ireland. Reports are that all had a fun day, the weather was kind to us, and everyone completed their relay legs or walks.

A massive thank you to Rosie Forsythe and the Cancer Focus NI Team for accommodating the runners and walkers post-event. Refuelling supplies were in abundance, and a bit more competition was had by a few at the Batak Station & High Ball Challenge. We can confirm that us oldies were pipped at the post on the Batak Station by two young whippersnappers! Well done, Scarlett and Eóghan!
