35 years of service for Contracts Manager Stephen McCook

Today marks 35 years of service for Contracts Manager Stephen McCook.

Stephen joined the former R.J. Maxwell & Son Ltd on the 28th of November 1989, when he first reported to John Trott as a laboratory technician. The late Roy Brown was the Quarry Manager at the time.

Several years later, Stephen transferred to the role of Weighbridge Operator when Croaghan Quarry first opened in 1994. Stephen successfully completed Transport Management National and International CPC. He then completed his Quarry Management Diploma. In May 2000, Stephen moved back to Bushmills Road, Coleraine, where he started training as a Contracts Engineer under Henry O'Kane. In July 2009, Stephen was promoted to Contracts Manager for Northern Contracts.

Stephen is married to our Commercial Co-ordinator, Carol McCook.
